RecommendedWas in the area, nowhere near home. My exhaust rusted out and needed to be repaired right away. Even though Mike wasn’t able to fix it, he helped me out by putting my car on the lift and tying the pipe to the undercarriage, then sent me to the exact place where I needed to have it repaired. Much appreciated, we need more people with integrity like him.
They will break you car, claim they don’t make the part anymore, say if you can find it they will put it on and you have to buy it. Told me vs what was wrong Told me Power steering pump was failing It was a bad rack and pinion Told me carbon built up on idle pin It was a bad mass air flow sensor Told me 2 wheel bearings were bad It was a bad tire Broke a piece off car while fixing the window motor, said they don’t make it and Wont fix it, nor give money back Of course after I paid!!! Stayyyyyy awayyyyy
They are the ONLY ones that I will allow to work on my car.

I’ve been going to Shipman’s for years now and will only bring my family’s cars to this place for many, many reasons. The family-owned business treats you like their friends, not just customers. They are hardworking, honest, and very reasonably priced. I know that when I have any car issues, I can trust them to not take advantage of me or my non-existent knowledge of cars. I have referred everyone I know to them because Shipman’s Garage is staffed by kind, genuine people.
I'd say the words to best describe Shipman's are integrity, honesty, excellence, fairness and friendliness. (When do you hear that about any auto repair shops.) We can't imagine going anywhere else. They do wonderful work, never try to talk you in to unnecessary repairs, explain anything you need to know and treat you as family. They even have a cozy, clean waiting area if you choose to wait for your vehicle.
I love how friendly and honest the guys are at Shipmans. Also, love how they went out of there way to make sure my son and I had a ride home and picked us up.
Mike and the guys are fantastic. Will be a lifelong customer for sure. Thanks for the years of great service
