Showed up at 2:45 pm on a Monday. No hours posted. Waited outside for half hour while people inside seemed to be preparing to open up. I knocked at 2:55 pm and asked through the door, “What time do you open?” Man sitting at bar with dog on leash signals to me. I count 3 fingers of an upside down OK sign. The Best Irish pub in Chicago great friendly patrons been in same location since day one great atmosphere you just have to come and see for yourself and yes it's a place were everyone knows your name
Shinnicks has been around for generations. My friends and I have made so many memories here. Great bar, great people and great location!
