My family and myself have had the privilege of being cared for by Dr Shinn for more years than I can count. Her diagnosis has always been spot on and the care is compassionate and professional! If only all doctors treated their patients with this level of care, we would never mind going to the doctor!
After multiple doctor visits elsewhere, Dr. Shinn found out me and my daughters diagnoses. She was extremely thorough, concerned, and professional. Everything you need in a doctor, plus a pleasant personality!
5 month wait to get an appointment, literally from registration, appointment to back in my car = a total of 9 minutes. Staff was amazing however her lack of attention and detail is somewhat concerning. This was 2nd appointment - and same outcome. Will be actively seeking a new dermatologist.
My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Shinn for about 12 years. She is always professional, personable and she LISTENS! She excels at diagnosing and treatment. Growing up in the era of baby oil mixed with iodine to tan...we both have had numerous lesions that she cared for and not once have we had an issue later or had to go back for a specific lesion. We have NEVER felt as if she were trying to rush through our appointments and We HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shinn!
She seemed to be too disgusted to touch my face and came off as cold and unfriendly. She also said my skin condition is a sign of diabetes which is untrue because first, she failed to identify what the skin condition was, and she isn't an endocrine physician to even suggest diabetes. Therefore, I don't recommend her.
I have been seeing Dr. Shinn for over 2 years. She is very patient with every question I have. She thoroughly explains all treatment plans. Her staff seems very intelligent and professional. I recommend her to all of my family and friends. Thanks Dr. Shinn!!
