Edited to add photo and more information: If anyone is considering booking the advanced diagnostic screening to get an official diagnosis, look elsewhere. You will not receive any answers from Dr. Richards. In his response to my email (38 days later) asking to clarify my results, he said himself that this screening is not “diagnostic”. How is an advanced diagnostic screening not diagnostic? I just met with Christy for the first time after a long and hard road of finding a good provider. I really appreciated her pleasant and positive attitude. She took the time to listen to my extensive history and offered compassion to my journey. I also really appreciate the option to do therapy at the same practice with a different provider. She was honest and upfront and I appreciate that.
I went here a year ago for an evaluation on adhd and ocd specifically. The practice had me complete a series of about 5 or so questionnaire's, which were all charged for evaluation. What should have been a bill of about $100 came out to be $500 out of pocket. For things I didn’t even want evaluated. They said this is their standard practice of policy. Shine deserves a 10-star rating! The administration staff, therapist, and nurse practitioner is amazing! I appreciate everyone at this practice and they have helped my family tremendously when needed. Keep up the great work you are doing Shine!
I have been a patient of this practice for several years. It has been more than 18 months since I have spoken to anyone from the administrative or clinical team. Last week, I called to make an appointment from a phone number that was not mine. Because of the sensitive nature of mental health information an appointments, I specifically left my name with my personal phone number and directions to call me back at that number to make an appointment.
