I attended an apartment viewing today at Georgetown and honestly had a very disappointing experience. We were specifically told to arrive sharp at 4 PM, yet the maintenance manager herself was not on time. Before the viewing as well, she was not responding properly to calls or text messages, which already made communication difficult and unprofessional. Applied for an available suite and my application was rejected with no reason as to why. I visited the head office multiple times for further explanation, tried leaving messages and never got a reply. I could get a hold of everyone except who I actually needed to talk to. Very poor professionalism, I'd advise caution if ever having to deal with this company. With the lack of information, I can only assume there is some sort of discrimination happening behind the scenes.

I recently applied for an apartment at Tiffany Towers on Grant and was disappointed with my experience. Even though I met all the criteria required for lease approval, I was advised to look for other apartments because the building “mostly has seniors” and that having children could create problems. This was very concerning to hear, especially since the building is not advertised as a seniors-only residence. I would give zero stars if I could. This is the worst real estate agency I’ve ever dealt with. Very unprofessional and they really don’t care about tenants. I lived in a Shindico-managed building in Winnipeg for 5 years and never missed a payment. The problems started when I decided to move out to another province. I still had a few months left on my lease and wanted to sublet my apartment. Using a more tactful, considerate, and customer-centric approach, especially when communicating about customer service, finances, or potential conflicts, can be more professional and easier to maintain relationships.
