I should have read reviews before choosing this “doctor.” Insensitive, dismissive, negative and heartless. If you want to be categorized, neglected and dismissed, go to her. I selected one star because I had no other option.

Dr Shigezawa is so nice and good at what she does. I was very nervous about the procedure. She was very gentle and quick that I didn't feel any pain. I feel so lucky my physician referred me to Dr. Shigezawa

Dismissive, she didn’t care about my persistent pelvic pain, referred me to an orthopedist instead of ordering a pelvic mri that was suggested by the orthopedist but out of his area of expertise. She said can’t do anything about pre menopause symptoms, not even a hormone test. Too bad my previous obgyn moved to the mainland and I had to see this “doctor”. Works with doctors who don’t accept new patients, hoping to find an obgyn who cares.

Not a trauma informed provider. We had gone over my history of trauma 10 minutes prior to the pap smear, yet Allison did not give any forewarning of when she was going to insert the speculum. I could understand if she was a new OBGYN. However, this is not the case. Trusting a stranger to conduct such intimate exams is in itself stressful.
