I've been to Shift twice in the past month. On the first occasion coffee was included with my meal. On my second visit a week later, I was charged $3. When I inquired about whether coffee is included in the price of a breakfast (the price is not on the menu), my question went ignored. Despite this negative experience, both meals were delicious and the service has been excellent. The atmosphere is great. I have eaten at Shift several times and have never been disappointed. The food and staff are top notch. I love the atmosphere and the fact that they use local resources not only for their food, but the decor as well. It is one of my favorite places to eat.
This place was awesome. So good that my friends and I went twice while in Frostburg this weekend. The staff was nice . We had a large and very diverse group, and we all found something we liked. On Friday we went for dinner. The Fried cheese Curd was a big hit with the group. Sunday we returned for brunch. The vegan Hash was great! I am told The Cinnamon roll as big as your head was amazing by another member of the group. Overall we all enjoyed this place and would love to eat there again!
Brunch was excellent, I will be back over and over! The Vegan hash "de-veganed" (I added sausage and an egg) was the best!! Table mates had the quiche and the omelet and both were great! Beautiful space and people... friendly smiles from everyone!
My favorite restaurant in western MD. Wish I had the money to eat here all the time!
Shift is amazing! We come here for lunch a few times a week. The daily specials are so good! Melissa and everyone who works is super friendly!
Great food, nice people, would definitely recommend Shift.
