The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction here is top-notch! The techniques are taught in a clear, step-by-step manner, and the sparring sessions are always a great opportunity to apply what you've learned in a safe and controlled environment. If you're in Tennessee and looking for a new skill to learn, Shield Systems is the place to go!
When we first moved to Knoxville in 2021, we sampled a couple different gyms. We were having a hard time finding a gym with a culture we vibed with, until we went to Shield. We attended one class, immediately signed up for our membership, and have been here ever since. At this gym, your stripes and your belts mean something. Ben and Amy embody a culture of excellence while cultivating a supportive community. We love being a part of the Shield Systems family.
Love this gym! Ben and Amy are fantastic coaches and have built such an awesome community. If you are looking into starting or continuing MMA or Jiu Jitsu this is the best gym in the area!
