Shey’s Veterinary Hospital is by far one of best veterinary hospital I have been to. I love that Dr. Albers and his staff have so much compassion and care for the animal patients. They are also very thorough with their examination, treatment and care. A few months ago, I had my dog Athena get check over by Dr. Albers because her anxiety and my dog was a little scared so Dr. Albers sat on the floor and allowed Athena to get comfortable with him before examine her. I cannot thank the staff and vets at Shey’s veterinary hospital enough. We have a French Bulldog (aka adorable disaster) named Emma. She had a bad reaction after going to her regular vet for her vaccinations. The reaction caused swelling in her throat and her airway was restricted . Since our regular vet had closed for the day we called Shey’s and they told us to come in immediately . They treated the dog and helped her breathe a little easier and potentially saved her life. First time taking my new puppy here for some issues with allergies. I love that the first thing Dr. Mike did was come in and sit on the floor with my dog. I also couldn't believe they were able to see my dog on a Sunday within an hour of my call. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I'll definitely see Dr. Mike again. Thank you!

Vet care in general can be expensive and quality can vary. Dr. Alber is a very, very high quality veterinarian with extremely reasonable prices. He has phenomenal diagnostic skills so will only recommend testing that is needed versus some vets that want to recommend every test available. He is kind-hearted and his love for animals is evident to humans and pet patients. Every pet patient is his most important patient. Highly recommend Shey’s Veterinary Hospital! We went in for the first time with a sick puppy a few days ago and he is feeling so much better thanks to the team at Shey’s. Compassionate and thorough care from start to finish. Dr. Alber and the entire staff were so kind and made our pup (and us) feel comfortable and at ease. Cannot thank you guys enough!
