Dr Patel was great. I went in for a routine check up and when she asked me if I had any concerns, I just mentioned a mild abdominal pain that didn’t seem to be that big of a deal, however, she took it seriously and did order a CT scan for me. The scan revealed an inflamed appendix that was close to bursting. I was able to get the appendix removed with outpatient surgery and her thorough observation kept me from having a much worse problem with a burst appendix! I just had a baby knew I was getting sick. I asked her for something so I don’t spread it to my infant. And it’s a 45 mins drive. She said to come back if it gets worse… I don’t have time to leave my baby and spend another 2-3 hours a day to say wait if it gets worse.
