In the two or three times I have tried to go on Saturdays, the woman who is staffed at this rec center has always been incredibly rude and reprimands patrons for one reason or another. Once was because I went upstairs to see the multipurpose rooms, another time because I showed up at 4:30pm on a Saturday (she claimed that the center closed at 4:30pm but the DPR website says 5pm). Good gym good workout gym very clean an professional staff.
We’ve been to a few birthday parties here and we’ve played basketball. Love that this is in our neighborhood and it is a great place for families to convene. Terrific playground too.
The gym is quite nice and has most of what you would need. Similar to the size of a gym. Main issue I have run into is that (1) the hours are quite limited and (2) employees often won't let you come in to the gym unless you get there an hour before closing. They typically close up about a half an hour before actual closing since the employees don't want to be bothered to do final cleanup with anyone else around. Wish they would just change the hours online instead
