Dr. Winningham at Sherwood Family Medical Center decided to drop my child as a patient without notifying me because I wanted a referral for her to go to children’s for an issue he was obviously too incompetent to address. After multiple visits and different formulas nothing changed and each time I call or bring her in they treat me like I’m a young uneducated mother who don’t know what she’s talking about. My children saw Dr. Miers as they grew up and now she cares for my grandson. All of the doctors here are wonderful. They are knowledgeable. They utilize outside specialties when needed but are rational and don’t put children through procedures they don’t need. We have had only good experiences and while the wait can be long at times Dr. Miers always takes the time to answer all questions and reassure us on any concerns without making us feel rushed. I have been going here for over 20 years now and I have seen a lot of change in that time. I saw Dr. Riley until he retired and now both my wife and I see Dr. Ballard. He is a very good doctor and the staff is very friendly. Like almost all clinics and doctors they are overscheduled and don't have a lot of time to spend with each patient. If you ask questions, they will usually stop and take the time to answer.
Dr. Jane Miers and staff at Sherwood family medical clinic saved my child when he was 2 weeks old. He was blue and not breathing when we arrived. There were 2 times they saved my child’s life.....I would take my child anywhere else!
Every worker here from the doctors to the receptionist is awesome
My whole family sees Dr. Gerson. He's wonderful with every one of us. His nurse, Lisa, really cares for kids. The woman that checks us into the exam room, Kim (I don't know her title), knows my kids by name. They both mention how they've grown and how sweet they are each time. That's even after Michael has thrown a walleyed fit on occasion. � He's two. It happens. � Thanks for your great care!
Front desk is awesome. Love using MyChart to communicate with my nurse.
