She is very helpful but it still took 3 months after finding cancer to start treatment.No Dr hu fault

Dr. Hu is fantastic! My husband is treating with Dr. Hu for Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia, a realtively uncommon blood cancer. Dr. Hu was thorough in making her diagnosis and explained things to us very well. We obtained a second opinion from SCCA and they agreed she had ordered all the right tests and was recommending the correct treatment. We elected to remain with Dr. Hu and Polyclinic and are very pleased with our decision, both medically and personally.
Dr. Hu is very caring and thorough. She explained my treatment options and answered any questions I had. After talking to her, even on the first visit, I found I was a little less anxious about having cancer. I feel fortunate to have her has my doctor.
I enjoyed working with Dr. Hu and her Nurse, Gordan. They were quick to understand my needs, and continually pleasant in their bedside manner.
Cancer is not personal, it is science, this is how I approached my treatment. Dr. Hu was able to clearly explain the science behind my cancer. She thoughtfully answered my questions, calmed my concerns, and made me feel like we were a team in tackling treatment. Dr. Hu was always knowledgeable and compassionate. Emails and phone calls were responded to and the voice on the other end of those phone was caring and empathetic. I never felt alone; I thank you team for the compassionate care.
