It’s true that once a loved one enters hospice, a piece of you slowly dies with them. When that happens, there’s a multitude of things that can trigger the anger response that comes knowing the end is near. Sherman Home understands all of this, and that’s why they exhibit a level of grace and empathy in the face of that anger, even in the form of a negative review. my grandfather just got moved into this hospice home. with how hard this process already is and has been on our family , they continued to make it even harder as we were trying to all say our last goodbyes as a family and we all had limited time to do so. a couple of the nurses felt the need to kick everyone out of the room just to move/roll him over , as it was only two of his children and two grandchildren in the room who were , mind you , standing against a wall out of the way of anything. it was really disrespectful and ... read more
