It was brought to my attention on 6/8/2018 that a representative of Sherlock Homes Realty attempted to hand deliver me, Alexandru Florescu, a ‘Notice of Intent’ to terminate my rental agreement for an alleged material breach. The notice, which was back-dated for 6/7/2018, was instead left with my girlfriend who was visiting my residence, per my request, with her assistance dog and babysitting my four-year-old son while I was working. The tenant was served a proper 10-day notice for material breaches of contract. The tenant is in breach & was told to follow his written agreement. The tenant agreed to all of these terms at the time of renting the property & the tenant has the requirement to remedy the breaches. There have been no violations by our company.
I'm actually scared of moving out if i do so, i really don't want to move i love the neighbor, and want to stay as long as possible, however I fear i wont get my rental deposit back, just because from all the reviews i see. We rented for 6 years. We dealt with a lot of broken things but we couldn't deal with the mold that developed after a pipe busted. We were told that our maintenance request cost too much and we were handed a 30 day termination letter that listed economic reasons. After 6 years we were retaliated against for reporting the health code violation. This is illegal and it's not over. Do your research. On 3-28-18, Mrs. **** called in a complaint of mold in the house, gaps in floor, & sinking floor. On 3-29-18 I Called Mrs. **** & scheduled an appointment the same day. When I went to the property Mrs. **** was upset about a variety of issues & demanded answers of what would be done with each item. Every health & safety issue was addressed, the septic was scheduled for pumping the next day & I told her they were sending a company to evaluate the septic tank & leach field.
