Dr. El is the best. It took us a few sessions to get to know each other, but it was worth it. He listens to my needs and figured out what works best for me!

Dr.E is extremely knowledgeable. He treated me for depression and anxiety but he also saved my friends life. My friend was a really bad addict and he would’ve died if it wasn’t for dr.El-Asyouty. He’s the only one in town who knows his stuff and truly saves lives. I don’t agree with any of the bad reviews here and I know some people get upset when they want their Xanax refilled and he doesn’t do it for them so they get mad and write false reviews. If you’re looking for a Doctor Who just prescribe whatever meds you want, he’s... read more

Dr El-Asyouty is a bumbling idiot. His personal demeanor is offensive and the condition of his office is foul. It’s been over 10 years since my experience with Recovery Road. I still feel ill when thinking of Dr El-Asyouty. Dr Frawley is a wonderful, caring and brilliant doctor. I can’t imagine any possible reason he has partnered up with this incompetent buffoon.

I would never, ever go back to this doctor again and I would recommend anyone and everyone to avoid him. He doesn't listen to what you say and is extremely arrogant. He took what I told him and completely disregarded it. Since my experience with Dr. El Asyouty, I spoke with another patient of his who he suggested they start on an opiate medication after they had just gotten off heroin on their own and were doing fine-that's INSANE! It's like he wants to get people who have addiction problems ADDICTED to his care, so they nee... read more

I found Dr. El Asyouty to be a poor doctor. In addition to being very pompous and opinionated, he did not even listen to what I had to say. His style is very off-putting and I found myself distrusting him right away. It seems that all he does is continually change up medications without them being able to be considered effective. For instance, he took me off one SNRI after being on it for less than a month, only because he changed his mind about it for me. Not only did the medication not have a chance to work for me (SNRI's ... read more

Over medicates and makes you drug dependant. Arrogant and opinionated. Interupts appointments to take phone calls. Is distracted and talks about his own mental issues. Makes you wait, always. I don't believe any of thepositive reviews here could be real. Just look at the negative ones. But hey, he takes Insurance... I'd rather pay out of pocket and not be addicted to drugs by a liscensed dealer.

Do NOT choose him. The ONLY relationship we had was about MONEY. I had to send many forms before I could even schedule an apmt. Only after he checked my insurance benefits did he give me a call. I saw many mental health professionals and never felt so intensely treated like a dollar bill rather than a patient. I wasn't able to make it to my 1st apmt. Despite my extenuating circumstances, he still charged me $100 + sent the bill to a collection agency! I NEVER EVEN saw him ONCE.He's just a CROOK.

Dr. El-Asyouty is a gifted practitioner. He is very thorough, taking as much time for our appointment as needed - never makes me feel he is in a hurry - and is cautious about prescribing medication. He's intuitive and caring, and yet very straight forward. In the three years I have been seeing him, he has helped to turn my life around. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Asyouty.

Very disappointed. Arrogant, argumentative, and defensive. From a mental health care provider?
