I was hesitant to see a mental health provider, because I'd had some negative experiences in the past. My PCP had been managing my meds, but eventually my PCP recommended I see Sherie. I couldn't have been more satisfied with the care I received. Sherie actually listens to me when I speak about my independent research and findings. She takes the information I bring with me into consideration when prescribing and coming up with a treatment plan. Working with Sherie is a collaboration and not a dictatorship. Not safe. Not even safe to leave this review-she’ll have you committed somewhere where they withhold your meds- both medical and psych. And I lost 20 lbs after getting off the med she assured me for years doesn’t make you fat. The doctor in lockdown defended her and yelled at me for defending myself. So she is well protected in this town. If you have bipolar or worse, find an MD, and get second opinions. Some professionals are ok with you being sick. She’ll lie about your meds’ side effects, even after you look it up. Even if you gain 30 lbs. If you’re throwing up on them for weeks, you’ll have to research your own alternative because she’s ok with you being sick. She’ll even say, “Something’s gotta kill us.” She doesn’t keep her meds behind lock and key. She leaves them in a mailbox outside for you. She’ll disappear on you for a week when you need help.
