My father saw Dr. Chang for a recent history of fainting when standing. She did not look at his CT or Cardiology exam. She said it was anxiety and recommended a therapist. Dismissed him outright. Stay away.
Dr. Chang was rude and impatient.
Doesn't really listen to my questions. Just respond with limited answers. Kind of robotic, no human expressions at all. Very condescending in her answers. Interrupted me several times and when I did finish a sentence I either got a very curt response or had to repeat it again. Kept shaking her head and asking why I was there. I am willing to drive out of town rather than go there again.
Thorough exam but no feedback at all. Just wanted to pass me off to another office with no explanation. Feels like being scammed. Imagine paying a mechanic $600 only to be told to go somewhere else and no reason why. I feel robbed.
Definitely no empathy. Interrupts when you are explaining. Provided no diagnostic after a rushed basic exam despite my GP’s recommendation of an EMG. Does not seem to communicate well, just wants to rush through appointments.
Visited to review my neuropathy issues She asked extensive background questions and conducted a very thorough exam. Recommended MRI & EMG testing to identify the source of the problem. Following the MRI she called and discussed in detail the findings of the procedure and answered all of my questions. Very thorough!!
I wish I could leave less than one "star." Efficiency is great when visiting a doctor's office; unless you fail to let the patient finish a sentence. I waited months to receive an appointment, once in office I was immediately seen by nurses/ doctor. Didn't have time to fill out the history and physical forms prior to visit. Nurse told me that "most people stay in room to fill our forms [AFTER the visit]. Doctor was less than thorough, and in an EXTREME rush.
Outstanding visit from start to finish! She began our visit by asking me detailed questions about my medical history, taking copious notes, and asking for clarifications and more info to remove all ambiguity. She explained her approach to treating my condition, wanting to know if I was comfortable with her methodology or if I wanted a different approach or changes. She listened attentively, and my care and treatment plan was a collaborative effort between the two of us.
No empathy. No communications skills. Didn't care.
