We went to the Opryland Hotel for the Make A Wish even called “Stars for Wishes” on January 17th, 2015. Since January 18th was my 40th birthday, we decided to get a babysitter (we have a toddler at home) and enjoy a night out with a room at the hotel. 0 1 Dede H. Boxborough, MA 11/6/2014 Had an EXTREMELY FRIGHTENING experience at Le Meridien on Saturday, 11/1/2014. We were in town with extended family, including 4 grandchildren, for our son's wedding, offsite. We had a nanny caring for 3 sleeping babies. The fire alarm was activated and guests were advised to vacate the hotel via the stairs, not the elevator. My wife and I stayed here one night and it was a different hotel than we are used too. The decor was clean, modern and hip; but not the traditional hotel like you usually find. Its a newer hotel so you will find all the modern amenities like big flat screen TV and a unique shower and bathroom in the rooms. This place seemed to cater to a younger clientele (under 40).

My brother had a wedding reception at the hotel in June. There were about 300 guests there and the place was packed. When I first came to check in at 5:30 (it starts at 4) they told me my room wasn't ready? So I went to the reception with all my family's stuff and waited for a call till it was ready. Then after the reception ended and majority of the guest left, I packed up 4 mini iPads for my kids along with some clothes. I made a reservation for Spring Hill Suites in Denver. Then had to cancel due to an injury. I cancelled 20 days ahead of the planned trip and they would not return my deposit of 200$. They just made a free 200 bucks at my families expense. Their cancellation policy was April 1st for a June 29th arrival. Ridiculous. Beware! Read the fine print so your family doesn't lose money it cant afford to lose.

Gotta love city search. the paid advertising on this page says if I like Legends, then I might also like Olive Garden.....Hardly. To put those two even in the same category is a gross misrepresentation. Legends is absolutely one of the best italian restaurants in the City of Pittsburgh. Chef Dan's well thought out and crafted dishes are amazing. One is better than the next. I usually go with one of his daily specials. And either get the grilled polenta appetizer or one of his amazing cakes for dessert. Service is always fant... read more

Great airport if hard to get to. I think it's 3 freeway transfers to get to it. About 20min from the city proper. Good food and nice people. Good shops too.
