Great burgers! Both beef and the black bean burger (for the Vegan in our family). I'm not a Vegan but I had the chipotle black bean burger on sweet sourdough bun and it was great!
The service was phenomenal. The food... well Shep's is home to my new favorite burger. They always take great care of my family and me. Also the decor is lots of Star Wars references and memorabilia, like I'd like to decorate my house but my family isn't behind it. I'd give this place ten stars if I could.
My wife and I travel all over the US during the summers. These long road trips have encompassed over 60,000 miles over the years and we have driven through the lower 48 states. Burger joints are one of our favorite rest stops as long as they are not of the fast food variety. Tonight, we stopped at Shep's Place and grabbed a meal. The Presbaugh Burger is one of the three best hamburgers that I have ever eaten. It might be the best. Awesome family venue, specials are great and just a great place to relax. The food is great the service is awesome and its a family that works together. They will take care of you, take care of them
You can tell these folks like their customers. Everyone is personable and friendly from the servers to the ownership (who happens to run the kitchen. Very short menu but what they make is really good. And a lot of it. The patrons love this place too because it's constantly packed. Took a few strolls around the parking lot before we got a space. Live music on the outside patio. If you are looking for laid back food and fun. Give it a try.
Fabulous staff, management, owners. Best burgers ever! Great sense of community and commitment to the community.
