First visit and I LOVED IT!! Super Chill guy attending and super helpful!! Im trying to stop going to Starbies but struggle to find places who can make comparable drinks. I should have got his name but this guy came through!! The shaken expresso dupe was absolutely perfect! I also got the pistachio matcha and OmG!! Another perfect drink!! Both were quality and not too sweet. Great coffee & great people! Twenty 3 and Black Sheep are the best iced coffee drinks I've ever tasted. So was their ham and cheese croissant. It's a great environment to sit down and get into a work flow or to just chill out and relax. They have indoor and outdoor seating and tables. They also host really fun community events. It's just minutes away from downtown & Petco Park and a block away from a trolley stop. If you're looking for the best spot to get caffeinated, Shepherds is it!

Tried Shepherd’s Coffee for the first time after seeing the place a few times. Ordered a macchiato and paid $7. If you’re charging that much, the quality has to deliver. Unfortunately, the coffee was bitter, highly acidic, and just didn’t justify the cost. I understand supporting local businesses, but there still has to be some connection between pricing and the actual experience. This felt more like a one-time stop than a place people keep returning to.
