Mechanics with a Conscience – I have been taking my cars to Tom and Mike at Shepherd Square Tire and Auto for almost as long as they have been open. As a woman in a large city, it is important that I have a mechanic I can trust. I have always felt that Tom and Mike have treated me as they would want their daughter or sister treated. Great guys and service – I had a tire repaired here and they did an amazing job. They guys were really nice and even squeezed me in so that I could just hang out until it finished. Highly recommended!!
I was tricked thinking I was going to get good service. – This is the usual thing that happens to me being a woman I go to a mechanic shop to get my car serviced I get sub-standard work and was overcharged at the same time. They will not work on your car until they give you an estimate - which is accurate both in terms of what you actually pay and what they suggest it will cost when you drop it off. Great / Fast Service – Recently moved to Houston. Got my car's brakes changed at a different shop (XX) and thought they could be trusted. Took my wife's car to the same shop and had her front brakes done. They said her rear brakes were a month away from being dangerous. Great guys! – I'm broke because I just moved to TX from NY and bought a car. The car that I bought has had a few problems. I have have my car towed there twice and the minute it was towed there these guys have looked at it, fixed it, and given me a great deal on parts the same day that it was towed to them. They will be honest and give you a great deal. They really do care about their customers and make you feel at home. They will go out of their way to get you a great deal.
