Car Problems Suck...These Guys MADE all my Worries Go Away! – My car started making some noises and doing some other weird stuff so we took it in to see Matt(Owner). He showed us what was wrong, he fixed it quickly and we were on our way! That was over a week ago and the car runs great! I trust them and that is really what auto car is all about!
NOT HONEST!!!! – NOT HONEST!! We were quoted over $1100 for work that we did not need. Mike Watson did not seem very honest..considering it took him over 24 hrs to tell us the outcome of a diagnostic on our car. When we picked up our car I told Mike Watson we wanted a second opinion and NICE MIKE was not so very nice. We decided to take our car to the nearest Firestone (Galleria) and we were contacted within 2 hours and told that we had a bad vacuum hose...WTF!!! Quote less that $600!! replaced wrong headlight – went in to get headlight replaced and an oil change, wrong headlight was replaced. other than that, main guy pointed out a couple concerns about my vehicle that will need to be fixed but arent a safety issue right now. so.. thanks for that part.
Finally problem fixed – I had been riding around with the check engine light on for months because I went to *#* Mechanic shop many times trying to get them to fix the "fuel Sensor(s)" problem which the diagnostic computer kept indicating was the problem- but they never could fix the problem. I just got fed up with them, their excuses, and their bills. My inspection sticker expired; and my car failed the emissions test. Awesome Customer Service & Staff...! – I have been going to this shop for a while now, and last month I realized my car needed some work and a new set of tires, so I went in to Shepherd Square. Having been a previous customer, I noticed that the ownership had changed. The new owner came out and greeted me along with the manager! They were very friendly and courteous. Great Shop Honest – I have been anticipating a delivery of my classic daily driver which arrived in the heat of Houston desert without working AC. Keep in mind it is an older car and it has the old R12 system. I was looking for an honest reputable shop in Houston. Shepherd's Square is Sensational! – A friend of mine referred me to Shepherd's Square for the random, unknown car troubles I was experiencing. Best Automotive Shop in Town – Took my car in for some repairs on a Saturday, the shop was very busy but Mike was able to fit me in and get the repairs done. They even worked on my car for an hour after the shop closed in order to get me out and on the road. Extremely good work and friendly service.
