terrible doctor I went to see Krista Hopkins at Shenandoah Women's Health in Martinsburg, WV for my annual exams. I told her up front multiple times I was sensitive. She check my top half, a little rougher than I would like but she seemed to ease up. On my lower half she grew completely insensitive to my needs. Unless your a slab of meat, do not go to Krista Hopkins. It was not just a little or even a lot of discomfort, it was sheer pain! Find someone else My children have visited Shenandoah Community Health Center for pediatrics since birth. While they started out as a good choice, they have seriously declined. They are understaffed and over booked about 90 - 95% of the time. They are slow. You can't expect to be at an appointment at the time set. They tell you you HAVE to be there 20 minutes early (3:30 appt = 3:10 arrival time). If I wanted a 3:10 appt. I would schedule one for that time. The doctors frequently change. good job I've enjoyed my experiences at Shen comm health center. The doctors are quite competent. They have a sliding fee program that is helpful to uninsured patients. My kids come here since birth, and I am pleased with the outcomes.

Go Somewhere Else My children currently go there and Im in the process of finding them a new pediatrician. In the beginning, I too thought they did a good job, but I agree that they have declined in care tremendously. Ive had way too many dr appts cancelled at the very last minute by them because the dr "had to be out of town"...do they not realize how difficult it is for me to just reschedule on a whim? Reality check I went there for the first time and was plased and impressed with the facility and the staff. I know there will be a wait at times when I go tho the doctor, it is thenature of the business. I also know not to take my kid to the doc for a "head Cold" as described by the previous post. Patience is important because they may be spending a little extra time with the patient before you and they may need to spend a little extra time with you.
