Dr. Shen's office staff is inept and can't even communicate at the level they should to be a competent provider. I tried to reach out to my medical provider, Amy Hicks, from Baghdad Iraq. I tried to explain to the office staff that I'm stuck in Baghdad for a few weeks and needed to discuss my prescription with Amy, and the office person asked me several times what state Baghdad Iraq was in and then told me Amy couldn't help me because I wasn't in Texas. Dr Shen is the bomb! I can't say enough good things about this doctor. My SIL, sister and husband all see him now. His NP, Amy, is fantastic too.
I VISITED THE SHEN NEDICAL IN COMMERCIAL BLVD JUST TO LOOK BECAUSE I AM LOOKING TO CHANGE ALONG WITH MY WIFE, AND I WAS EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH THE HOW CLEN AND ORGANIZED IT WAS. THE PEOPLE WERE VERY FRIENDLY.
Dr Thompson always always takes the time to listen to her patients and gives feedback where the patient understands what’s going on with them.
I have been a patient of Dr. Shen for a long time. He has put up with my hard headed behavior and he never gave up on me. In October he finally got me to go and get a colonoscopy done and I’m glad he did. I had a polyp removed that was “pre-cancerous”. Now I’m being just as stubborn about a CT scan that I had and him and his amazing staff are at it again, “beating” the sense into me that I need to stay healthy!!! I love Shen Medical Associates and no one can convince me otherwise!
