My fiancé and I were on the hunt for some good seafood on our way out of town and stumbled upon this little place. We ordered a bunch of things to share, which satisfied our craving perfectly! Most things we ordered were fried, but at that moment it was exactly what we were looking for. I would definitely recommend this place and if I ever find myself in that area again, I'll be stopping by!
Shempy's grill is one of the better places to eat in this area. If you're looking for ambiance, maybe somewhere else. Thus far is my qualifications as a gourmand goes, I've been eating food for 76 years so I know something about that. Everything I've ever eaten at shempy's' has been as good as it gets around here. And as far as the ambiance goes is fine with me. Go check them out!
Wonderful food, totally laid back! Frog legs delish h, hands down the very best seafood gumbo, anywhere, ever!
Always yummy when we vacation in Rockport! Can't wait until summer time!
Great food! Loved the fish platter and hush puppies! Family enjoyed the burgers! Small, homey atmosphere. Will definitely be returning ☆☆☆☆☆
