My wife and I got there early evening after the Cooper River Run (35,000 people) and I think half if them were there and we we're seated immediately. Hosted was gracious and our server went above and beyond to make our evening great. Food was excellent and we will certainly be back. The only down side to the whole experience was limited parking.
Love Shem Creek Bar and Grill. Go there at least once every time I'm in town.. I crave the yummy "oyster shooters". Course I can't complain about anything there. Food, drinks & employees are wonderful!!!!!!!
I love sitting at the back bar and enjoying some grub with a view. Tim, bartender and oyster shucker extraordinaire is the man!
Don't waste your money...go up the street. For the price we should have at least left full. I got a burger ordered medium served extra well done. Had approximately 7 fries on the side...literally. Husband ordered fish and shrimp. For $25 had a decent sized piece of flounder and 5 shrimp. Oh, with and small ice cream sized scoop of mashed potatoes. My son's popcorn shrimp tasted like they came out of the microwave. Worst $70 ever spent.
It was my first time there and it was nice, but the wait was an hour I might go back.
Great food, great selection of beer, and excellent service.
It's real simple if you want amazing food and view only the Lord can make come on down to the absolutely best seafood spot in the South! We just love Shem Creek Bar & Grill!! And y'all will too!
Crab cakes were the best I have ever eaten! And I have had cakes up and down the SC coast, Seattle, Annapolis. Highly recommend these awesome cakes.
