It was such a treat to start off the new year here. It was walking distance to Kilchis Point Reserve, a must stroll spot. I loved having access to a full kitchen and not feeling like yoy are disturbing anyone else like in a hotel. You could easily spend a week at the Sheltered Nook and in this area!
We had a fantastic time over a long weekend. Even though it rained most of Saturday I still had a great time taking a nature walk nearby through the Kitchess(?) Preserve and spent the rest of the time on a Netflix binge. Had not expected to have Netflix in a place like this but it was great to write out some of the rain.
Amazing find!! Super dog & kid friendly. They let your dog run around on nice grounds. Big grassy area. Frisbee golf course. Private TINY HOMES. Fire pit. The perfect breakfast basket, well thought out!!! THANK YOU for your hospitality!!!
Add this place to your bucket list!!! Incredible place to stay with the most amazing hosts. Thank you for such a relaxing weekend.

We headed to the Sheltered Nook on Thurday so we could get a good night sleep for our early fishing trip. When we arrived Mark got us all checked in. He showed us how to operate the heater, etc. They had a great fire going in the fire pit outside. We met the 2 other couple we were going fishing with outside by the fire. It was so nice. The Tiny Houses are stocked with about anything you will need. We slept great. This is such a great idea. We will be back for sure!!
My goodness I can't say enough good things about this place. Our Tiny house was so cozy and cute, it had absolutely everything we needed. Mark and Dee were so nice and accommodating, it was just perfect! I can't imagine ever going back to stay at a hotel after being so spoiled staying in a Tiny Home. For sure best memories ever staying in such a great place. I'd recommend this to everyone! Best experience we've ever had!!
