I've been with Dr Sheirpo for about 24 years and find her to be an amazing Dr and person I truly believe that with out her in my life I wouldn't have one Anyone needing a cardiologist or pulmonologist I highly recommend she's the one she's amazing. Dr. Shapiro is solely responsible for saving my dad's life. We took him to countless doctors who couldn't figure out why he was dying but insisted that he was dying. He was taken to Dr. Shapiro at UCLA who not only diagnosed him, but also found a new treatment that allowed my dad to live an additional 15 years when he was given an immediate death sentence prior. Absolutely worthless. Dismissive and demeaning. When she walked into the patient room, I handed her a diagnostic worksheet outlining my complicated medical disorders. It was signed by chief of an NIH research study on the connective tissue disorders I have. Shelly told me loudly to rip it up and said I needed to talk a doctor into giving me an anti-depressant.
