Top Notch Care I have taken my little Yorkie to Dr. Maris since she was a baby. He is wonderfully compassionate and very informative. He is never rushed and very patient with me and Twinkie. He is very good at diagnosing illness, therefore other Veterinarians in the area call on his expertise. I highly recommend Shelly Drive Animal Clinic.

Not Impressed/Bills always higher than quoted price The female vet is nice but the young male vet is not. He is abrupt and does not seem to care about animals. The front desk staff are not friendly and can even be rude at times. There is only one tech who seems to know what she is doing. The other are extremely inexperienced and I think they are going to harm my animals. Their bills are NEVER the same as what they quote over the phone and are ridiculously high. We are looking for another vet.

Above and Beyond I took my 11 year old cat to them after a misdiagnosis by another vet, and a correct diagnosis of liver failure. I was told that if they could help him, they would. They did all they could, but unfortunately, it was too late. After a very difficult conversation with Dr. Kathy Carlson, my family and I decided to put him to sleep. My dad and I planned to be there, and I went early to spend time with Bob before he got off work. The staff let me sit with Bob in the break room until my dad could get there, but he... read more

Lynne Justice We have a 20 yr. old cat that came to us via Austin, who was suppose to live only about a year at the most. Well, it's been 4 years now and he's still very much alive, thanks to the Vets at Shelly. We do take him in 3 times a week for fluids and never have long to wait. One tech babysits him while we are gone and even administers the fluids in our home. They are a wonderful group of people and very much appreciated by us!!!

Purr-fect Place All the staff at Shelly Drive are awesome. They are professional and try to take care of every need and answer every question with patience and empathy. Dr. Carlson is a great surgeon. He took on one of our dogs as a new walk-in client and did emergency corrective surgery during their lunch hour. The post-op care continues to be the best. Even though we live an hour away, we will continue to take our little guy there for all services.

Horrible You would be surprised what goes on behind the scenes here. Be careful! They are too worried about who is boss and who did what wrong to know the real reason they are there- the pets.

Corgi - Tail Docking I have had NOTHING but GREAT experiences with Shelley Drive Animal Clinic. First, I have bred Corgis for over 10 years and have had many different vets to do the tail dockings. I HAVE NEVER been completely pleased with the dockings...that is...until I found Dr. Maris. I drive over an hour to this clinic. Dr. Maris does great work. He has taken time to return my phone call. Recently, when I needed tails docked again and his schedule was full... I specifically requested him...he made room to take my animal... read more

better not bad I visted this clinic for my dog, they treated very good but they are taking so much time.the waiting is more,if anybody wants go there who have so much time you guys can there but the treatment is wonderful only think is time. You people can think we have to care about the treatment not the time,if your willing to spend hours in that clinic then it all yours.

Horrible experience My little dog was diagnosed incorrectly (long story) and they had to put her to sleep way before her time when she got terribly sick. It was traumatic and took me a long time to get over it. I have very bitter feelings toward them.
