Had dinner there last night with my husband. One of the worst meals I've ever had with servers to match. Steak was tough, potatoes burned, I could go on and on. No dessert menu or even dessert, from what the snotty waiter told us. I told him, "I'll never come back here and will tell everyone I know to not bother." It's expensive, but good food is worth it. This was not good food. The ambiance, however, is beautiful, a wonderful job of remodeling the former "Sage." restaurant.
Business response:
Lynne, I'm sorry you had a bad experience, this is certainly not the level of service and quality of food to which we aspire. We have multiple desserts made fresh daily which should have been recited by your server. We'd like find out more about your experience and try to earn back your business. Please contact our manager at 203-787-3466 so that we can make things right. Thank you. Shell & Bones Oyster Bar & Grill.
