Incredibly rude and disrespectful, wouldn't answer any of my mother's very reasonable questions (she's the sweetest most cheerful person too!), wouldn't explain what procedure he was going to do and why. I cant imagine how a sanitary condition can be achieved with all the junk covering literally every available space. I absolutely didn't feel any sense of caring or compassion from the man, actually he was a bit snippy and curt. He wrote on my foot with a permanent sharpie that took several days to come off. Maybe years ago he was a good doctor but at this point it seems to me that he needs to retire. I would in no way allow Dr. Marne to operate on me.
Dr. Marne is an excellent surgeon. He operated on both of my feet - a joint replacement on my right foot and Austin bunionectomy on my left foot, and his care has been wonderful. He truly cares about his patients, and even called after surgery to check on me. My recovery has been much better than predicted, and I think it's due to his skill!
His ad in the paper states "Gentle, Caring, and Competent." While I cannot adequately attest to his level of competence, I can tell you that a gorilla would not be as rough as this guy. And if he is caring, what I think he cares most about is money. Don't waste your time!
He was inconsiderate and did not respond or stop when I told him the procedure he began without asking or explaining was causing me terrible pain since he didn't bother with anesthetic. He kept saying, Patients are crazy over and over. This was a few years ago and a friend just asked for a podiatrist referral and the horrible memory came right back
