I recently adopted a very skittish, reactive dog who is 8 months old. He is very fearful of strangers, noises, and sudden movements. He growls and snaps when he feels threatened. He's so much better than he was, but he needs a lot of patient handling and TLC to restore his trust. Dr. Joe Sheldon knew just how to handle him. He used a quiet voice and didn't even try to touch him at our first appointment. He patiently offered small treats to get Charley comfortable.
