My cat, Minnie , had to be put down today. She was 14 years old and I had her for all those years. The vet, Mr. Stimpson, was so uncompassionate. He referred to Minnie as "the cat" and "it" He laughed it off that we thought we might be able to save her, made fun of the fact she lost a lot of weight, and behaved entirely unprofessional. He even told us we'd get over it in three weeks. He wouldn't even let us stay with her for the end. I have been a happy guest for many years. Though there have been many tears I know that everything that could have been done was. I just lost my Nosey. She was my best friend. She talked to me and let me know when her bedtime came. I know she is better off now but I sure do miss her. Dr. Anderson is a great cat doctor and has great compassion for us fur mama's.The staff is excellent and understand when your heart is breaking. Thanks for the nice note. I would like to say thank you to the Staff and Drs at Shelbyville Animal Hospital. They are not only the people that take care of your pups, but they all become part of yours and your pets extended family. I am forever grateful for the time, extra phone calls, hugs, honest conversations, and absolute respect they have for our animals and owners in general. This is a great crew right here. We recently lost our sweet fur baby. Dr. Anderson and staff you are the best. You all took great care of Whimp through out her life. We can't thank you enough for everything you all done for her. God Bless you all!!
Best vets ever! When my cat Archie got hit by a car, they got us in right away and took great care of him as they do with all our cats whether for annual check-up's or illnesses.
After hours my poor pug popped her eye out Dr Stimpson met us and the office and fixed her right up! Love them.
