If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. I am a pregnant Medicaid patient. I called several weeks ago to set an appointment (making sure they were taking new Medicaid patients) and the appointment was set only for another nurse to call me back leaving me a voicemail that they wouldn't accept me. I called for weeks looking for another doctor and my search brought me to Dr. Kelley Rouse which I wasn't aware was apart of this Northcross practice. Dr Tara Branton is beyond wonderful! She listens, cares, and takes time to speak with each patient. We have 3 generations seeing her! We have TOTAL trust in her care!
My family has been with Carmel Family and Dr. Marc Lewin for over 20 years and he is by far one of the best doctors in town. He is kind and caring. My husband had numerous health issues and every specialist he sent us to was top notch in their field. The day we found out my husband had cancer, Dr. Lewin personally called the oncologist he wanted my husband to see and we had an appointment the next day. My husband passed away 3 years ago, but I continue to see him. He is an awesome doctor and has never steered us wrong!
My previous eye doctor misdiognosed my astigmatism for quite some time before I switched to Lincoln Eye Center. The previous doctor gave me reading glasses that did not fix the problem and I had suffered my entire college career with headaches and migraines because of it. Dr. Hitt and his staff at Lincoln Eye Center were able to correctly diagnose my symptoms and correct the problem quickly. My husband and I had a horrible experience with Dr. Only. She's incredibly insensitive and I understand she's a new Dr. and really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. It was incredibly disturbing and frustrating to have to pay a Dr. that did absolutely nothing but cause an incredible amount of stress, called in a prescription that she knew I was allergic to which put me in the ER, and didn't listen at all to anything I had to say about my health and was very unprofessional. Absolutely love everything about this physicians office. The staff (including the Doctors) are so very caring, understanding, polite, patience, helpful, curtious. I love this Doctors office and staff. Myself and my family receive excellent care there. Nothing but the best, and that can be hard to find sometimes. Move here from out state tried a couple of other practices. I loved this place. Best doctors I ever had! The nurses were on top of things as well. The location is really pretty too. I am glad I choose to come here. I really can't say enough about how wonderful this place is!
my reason for 3 stars is that it is very hard to get messages to and from your doctor in a timely manner, and near impossible to get an appointment in between during crisis. they will just tell you to go to ER - even if your doctor says to call them to get squeezed in (that wont happen). Apart from this, I've found them to be mostly professional (just dont expect a lot from the nurses extension. thats where the professionalism sometimes goes away.
