Couldn't even get an appointment. I tried calling to book an appointment for my husband at 4:50 p.m. and after being put on hold for a minute or two, got answered by someone and promptly hung up on. Called back a second time, got answered quicker, and again got hung up on. Third time I called, the phone rang, obviously picked up, and was immediately cut off yet again. Had lots of repeated problems with getting my prescriptions filled at this office. Also, I went in with concerns of diabetes but they would not do blood work. I went to a specialist in Charlotte who believed I had diabetes and ordered a test. Guess what? I HAVE DIABETES!!! The doctor in Charlotte saved my life.
Poor Customer Service. We love Dr. Phelps and up until this point it has been the only reason we've stayed with SFP. However we've had it with this office. Our pharmacy sent SFP a per-authorization for a prescription 2 weeks ago. We thought that would be enough time because SFP is very slow. We called Wal-greens the 4th time today and SFP had still not done their part. We spoke to someone yesterday at SFP and voiced our concern, they never called back. My mother has been to this office many times and has always been treated well. They have been very pleasant and helpful.
I do not usually complain, however, I went to Shelby Family Practice two days ago and had a horrible experience. About a week ago I was exposed to raw chicken and I ingested a small piece. I figured I would be fine since I only ate a small piece. However, I started getting sick 4 days later. I was vomiting and had diarrhea.
