I really love the eyecare team at Shelby Family Eyecare! Dr. Heckman is awesome! Not only is she very thorough and answers any questions you may have, but she really educates you on how to care for your eyes! Her optician, Tia Terrell, is phenomenal! Her expertise in picking out frames to fit your face just can't be matched! She will find what you want in a frame, but will ALWAYS be honest with you if it doesn't complement your features! Dr. Heckman was very personable and thorough with her exam. She was WONDERFUL with my five year old daughter and made us feel very comfortable. Ms. Tia was kind and helpful and even made sure to give me a rebate form for my contacts so I could get the best deal. I’m so glad to have found an eye doctor for our family!
We love Dr. Heckman and Ms. Tia. Started with them at Target on 280 and followed them to Alabaster.
I followed Dr. Heckman and Ms. Tia from Target. I now live 1 1/2 hours away, however they are worth it! All questions answered and great for helping you choose frames!�
Wouldn’t go anywhere else. I’ve never had more attention and care than my kids and I receive with them!! They truly care about their patients and the customer experience.
I have tried multiple eye doctors in the Birmingham area and Dr. Heckman is by far the most personable and caring doctor I've met. She is so easy to talk to and actually listens to what you're saying! I would recommend her and her staff to anyone looking for a new doctor! 5 Star Rated!
