Horrible place! Dr z is extremely, rude , unprofessional and callous! I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Made assumption all about my pets care and the services we were to receive and bashed other local vets. Worst experience for a first time consultation about putting our dog down. Horrible person who calls herself a medical professional!
I always find it clean & neat. Although my Cocker Spaniel Buddy hates it when I pull into driveway, Dr Z has really done a good job taking care of him through his many health issues. She was also very caring during the final days of my cat's life a few months ago. I've read & heard negative comments from former employees but I've never seen any evidence of problems. Dr. Zahumensky, "Dr. Z", is one of the most professional & caring veterinarians that you will ever meet. She does go above & beyond to provide the quality care & love that we want our pets to have.
I have only gone to this clinic once and won't ever go back due to the fact that it wasn't very clean at all. (I don't know how it is now) but I will say when I went here 4 the 1st and last time I was with a friend of mine and her dog wasn't feeling well at the time. It wasn't clean when I went with my friend. Maybe it's different now idk but all I can say is that I didn't like the smell at all. I might also add that it smells even when walking towards the door too. And I had to completely scrub my hands when I got home.
I have taken my animals to Shelby Animal Clinic for 34 years. It is close, has comparable prices and caring people. I really like Dr. Z. I recommend Dr. Z. and Shelby Animal Clinic to everyone. 5 Stars
