RecommendedThis is where bad nasty cars are born. I have a custom package in mind. Now the funds. I can sell my show car I’m just too proud of it. I have what is believed to be one of 10 64-1/2 Mustangs prepared for racing by the Shelby crew of that day. Burned records keep me from authentication. But oh to have a Blue 1000 Super Snake parked beside her. This place is just pure energy and perfection !

So today I revisited the Shelby America manufacturing plant and museum. The displays had changed up quite a bit. I did get in on a employee giving history to a group of people about the cars displayed and how Shelby's relationship with Ford began. The thing I found interesting was he stated the relationship between Ford and Shelby had remained rock solid since around 1964 to present day. The last Shelby Mustangs I know of were the rare 1973 Shelby Mexican Mustangs. Then to about 2006 when Shelby Mustangs popped up again. So ... read more
