This place is a bit of a hike from my office, but the food is excellent. I have had Persian food from Darya in Costa Mesa, small shops all around LA and OC and from some of my Persian clients. This food is pretty darn good and the prices are reasonable. If you are not too hungry you can have a half order. I have had the chicken and salmon kabob. Both are excellent. I recently attended a five week training class at AT&T in downtown Los Angeles. Unfamiliar with the area, I decided to walked a few blocks down HIll Street in hopes of finding a good restaurant for lunch. I found Shekarchi Restuarant on the corner of Ninth and Hill and was greeted by the manager, Alex, at the door who immediately knew I was a first time visitor to this resturant.
