Dr. Sheehan was my psychiatrist from the time his practice opened until I left Florida in 2012. I attribute my improved mental health to his care during some very difficult times, and highly recommend him. He is compassionate, professional, and well worth the wait.
Simply the BEST!!! Caring, treats you like a human being. I hold ultimate respect for, and ultimate trust, in him.
I have been a patient of Dr. Sheehan’s since 2017. He is 1 of the last doctors that remain who treats each patient as an individual and listens to them. I do miss sitting in his office face to face before Covid happened. Now it’s Telehealth appts. Yes, you do wait to be seen in office & on phone because Dr. Sheehan takes the time to talk & listen and gives useful advice & information that will make you think outside of your appointment with him. First off, it takes forever to actually reach someone in order to make an appointment. Second, it's practically impossible to schedule an appointment. Do not recommend.
Dr. Sheehan treats me like a person. Not just a patient—a whole person. He's a good listener, honest about what he thinks you need, understanding, knowledgeable and non-judgmental. He tells it to you straight; it's up to you whether you are willing and motivated enough to follow through. I'm very lucky to have Dr. Sheehan as a partner in my ongoing commitment and work toward a healthier, happier version of me. Cannot recommend him enough.

This man saved my life! He doesnt shove you out after 15min. He takes time to listen, one of the few shrinks who truly cares about his patients.
The doctors in this office don't authorize emotional support or service animals. When I first started going, the policy wasn't determined so it was disappointing, to me, to find out they don't. Dr. Sheehan is good at finding a medication that helps and the staff will schedule appointments anytime you need one. The TV plays health advertisements so it's difficult to read or converse. The wait time is generally long so I recommend listening to music or an audio book.
