Great accommodation option for rural medical visits
Wonderful staff lovelly clean and comfortable especially just after surgery
Shearwater Lodge is clean & comfortable, and the staff are very accommodating. Having stayed in Shearwater Lodge, I found that the location inside the Health Campus made it convenient to go to treatments. There is also a buggy service available. I can definitely recommend the Shearwater Lodge.
The women who run and administer Shearwater provide an equivalence of care, support and kindness that sits alongside that of the nurses, doctors and other health care staff. It really does allow a small, safe and empathic community to 'hold' those staying there being treated, whilst they are away from home. Can't praise them enough.
