We used a company we were happy with that was acquired by Shearer. I have not had pleasant experiences since they were acquired. Mainly the techs they send out to do work. It's very hit or miss. Sloppy insulation on my ductwork the prior time they were out. Also, they are pricey.
We had them installed a brand new furnace/aircondition about 10 years ago. We get the regular maintenance done every year. Our warranty just ran out 2 months ago. Now the unit needs a part replace, Shearer will not give us any break on the cost of part/service. That’s not how you treat your long time customers. Will not use Shearer service again.
Recently had Shearers install new HVAC system for my mother's home. I could not be more pleased with the overall experience provided by Shearer's. Starting with response time to come out and access what was needed (thanks Brian for providing your expertise in a professional and cTordial manner) and offering a fair price for the job required. Christopher D. was 10 minutes early, as usual, and went right to work. He didn't stand around coking and joking. He discussed my system with me and gave me a glowing report, no doubt because of Shearer's excellent maintenance of my system. He answered all my questions and made it easy to pay for my annual plan. I highly recommend Shearer for any of your Heating & Air conditioning needs!
We were having issues with our central air. Justin showed up and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was very helpful and professional.
