RecommendedI serendipitously stopped at Shear Genius to get something to manage my “beach hair.” Linda was amazingly kind and accurate at assessing the damage I’d done to my hair and recommending some Aveda products to solve both my immediate request AND my overall hair problem. I did not use any services and am not a beach person, but certainly wish I were. I’d make Shear Genius a regular stop for services as well as the products. TRUST is important in hair care and the owner won mine in ten minutes.
Great saloon. Just had new waterless pedi and it was awesome! Relaxing, sanitary and nails and feet look and feel great!
I have lived in different places and have had many experiences with hairdressers. Linda, the owner of this salon, Is by far, the most knowledgeable, professional, and creative hair stylist I've been to. When I first began my visits with Linda, my hair was damaged. Linda has the best Salon anywhere. She has kept me young for 30 years, and that is something special. Make an appointment, sit down and let her do her magic.
Linda Porter is the absolute best person to ever touch your hair! Color, cut whatever she will do with your hair, a styling like you have never before experienced. You hair will perform like you never believed it could, or it ever did before.
Rude owner canceled our hair appointments as we arrived at salon on time - due to her mismanagement of time and appointments. She actually seemed to enjoy trying to humiliate me in front of other customers - With my daughter there who really needed a haircut. Just the owner cutting hair there she has no help- I assume it's because she can't get along with co-workers.
