The new remodel at the McDonough location is really nice! And the customer service is still great. Been coming to Shea Locs since 2021 and now most of my family has locs and come here. Hope they keep it up!
I started my loc journey Cherry and loved how it was coming out, but then i got my hair retwisted by the owner CEO Vernice and is VERY DISAPPOINTED. She cut my starter locs off and set me back 3 months. She should have ask me if I wanted my hair cut. I been in tears off and on for 2 days now she ruined my journey
When I first started my loc journey, I researched a lot. I finally chose Cherry at the Southlake location and have been super happy ever since. She has always been courteous, professional, and accommodating. She is always on time and takes time to explain to me how to take care of my locs. She has even started doing my husbands locs. We are both very picky, but are glad we chose Cherry.
I had a consultation with stylist Noelette at the Cascade Rd. location on 1-20-2022. I was nervous because I was transitioning from hiding my sisterlocks under wigs. I had never had them professionally groomed after starting them myself 3 months ago. After the consultation, I trusted Noelette's advice and action plan on how she would be grooming my locs. My experience here was amazing from start to finish. In between wasn’t perfect. Due to me being a bit panicky about first time salon experience with my Locs. I will not lie to you I doubted the stylist Nikki at first thinking she would not be heavy handed enough for my thick hair. Boy, was I wrong!
