I was just grateful to have the chance to be seen by a dentist, understanding everyone is not in that position.I was treated like a star and like I was part of the shea family.The information concerning my health was excellent and being prepared to answer any question I had was so encouraging.This a practice I can trust and recommend to all my loved ones. From the initial contact phone call to make an appointment to the way out, I felt so at ease and at home it didn't even feel like I was at the dentist. Being frightened of going to the dentist kept me from making an appointment for years. I mentioned that in my new patient forms and I was greeted with warm welcomes of reassurance and friendly faces! I cannot wait to go back and I never thought I would say that about the dentist.
Dr. Shea and his staff are great -- friendly, efficient and they all do excellent work. Dr Shea is very compassionate and gentle -- he won't show impatience when you keep gagging during impressions and he responds quickly to shrieks of pain. ;) I truly don't mind going to the dentist anymore, even if my reason to be there will be an unpleasant procedure, because I trust Dr. Shea will make it as pleasant as he can.
I am extremely pleased since I switched to Dr. Shea!! I really like how friendly and accommodating all of you have been. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and welcome. I feel all of you are genuine and that Dr.Shea is very qualified as an excellent dentist. One of things that really impressed was a patient who is also a dentist that said he would NOT let any other dentist work on his teeth other Dr. Shea. It is obvious that he knows many other dentist, but has deemed Dr. Shea to be the Best of the Best! I agree!!

After my previous dentist repeatedly tried (and failed) to figure out why I had bite sensitivity that kept me from being able to chew on one side (but charged me for each unsuccessful attempt anyway), I decided to switch dentists, and came to Dr. Shea on a friend's recommendation. Dr. Shea diagnosed the problem on the first visit, and explained to me in detail (including with photos) what was wrong and how to fix it.
