Mindy is amazing. I’m 40 weeks pregnant and moved here from DC and needed to find my new sugaring studio and am so happy I walked by!! She makes you feel so comfortable if you’ve never gone through the process. Offers an eye mask, a stress ball and even breathing techniques should you want them. The studio was clean and fresh and welcoming and I just loved everything about the experience. To echo another review, finding someone who effortlessly pairs a reassuring and authentic presence with precise attention to detail is rare. I've been going here for years now and always enjoyed my services with Mindy and other previous staff. Mindy recently encouraged me to purchase a $130 package deal for sugaring services. I purchased the package and I already had a Scheduled appointment that I set up in person following my previous appointment with her. Completely ghosted on my fiancée - had appointment booked for weeks and she shows up, lights are off, door locked and nobody answering texts or emails. Bad way to conduct business, especially after paying a deposit. Don’t go here.
I paid a deposit in advance of my appointment, and received confirmations and reminders - as well as emailed with somebody regarding the appointment. When I arrived, no one answered the door and the lights were off. I waited for 30 minutes and received no communication that the salon was closed. I did not receive a refund for the deposit. This is disappointing because I have been to this salon prior. I would not recommend making an appointment.
