Was told by a nurse that they’re busy even though she was singing & dancing at the damn desk, talking shit on other workers while I just wanted to call my mother. Then was told rudely that “there’s much going on can’t you see that”. Thanks for making me feel like less of a human being. I was discharged within 24 hours because I didn’t meet criteria for a 72 hour hold. I understand people are overworked. People are stressed. My daughter was taken to the hospital after police found her up under a tree passed out from who knows what? I was already at the hospital visiting my mother when I received a phone call from my wife telling me what have happened. So I went to the emergency room to inquire about my daughter's well-being and they told me she could not receive visitors for about an hour. Worst hospital experience ever
Almost died thank goodness I am a nurse or I would have. The third floor nurses and hospitalist's do not listen. Put me into fluid overload, was up walking around post surgery. Three days put on 16lbs. because nurses nor doctors would listen. Something was very wrong you sent me home to die. Came back after discharged three hours later fluid overload and heart condition now. Thank you SMMC.
I am from St. Louis, MO and my brother was in for bypass surgery this week. I have never been to a more professional and caring hospital in my life, they made sure we were updated on my brother approx. every 30 minutes. Being the first time in new hospital we ask for a lot of directions and the staff made sure we knew our way or they walked us to it. I do not normally send in feedback for much, but you all should get a pat on the back (WELL DONE) Robert Metcalf
