This place is a joke and ridiculously expensive!! New to the area and like to support the local shops...and support is the word with these prices! The owner talked me into buying a "better than sex" cake. The cake was a small ...6 inch in diameter and one layer...devils food cake with white icing. When I tasted it , it was pretty evident that it was a box cake mix cake. And to top it off it cost \$20.00! No more business from me!

I stopped in the Shawnee Hills Bakery yesterday morning to try their doughnuts. I got 2 cream filled with a coffee and the tab was \$5. I thought that was pretty high priced for what I got but if it was good I could deal with it. The doughnuts were at least a few days old. I had to throw one of them in the garbage when I got home because it was so stale and hard. The coffee was weaker than circus lemonade and was luke warm. Cant ever see returning there again. Which sucks because I live so close.
We originally had duck cookies made from Schneiders Bakery in Westerville. I asked my parents to pick them up (they live in Wville) the day before daughters 1st bithday and they were appalled that they looked like PEEPS!! VERY disappointed. My mother called to complain and they hung up on her! Parents called Shawnee Hills Bakery (closer to where we kive), the night before the party and they said they could make the ducks for us. I stopped into the Shawnee Hills Bakery because I needed some cookies for an event. I wasnt sure what to expect but found that this small unassuming bakery produces quite a variety of delicious baked goods. By the time I left Id purchased a loaf of Chicago Rye bread, raspberry scones, and a variety of chocolate chip, peanut butter, Irish shortbreads cookies and the most AWESOME white chocolate chunk cookies Ive ever had!
