RecommendedWe love Shawnee animal Hospital! The staff is friendly and helpful and all treat our cats well. Dr. Fouse saved my cat Pepper’s life recently by treating a saddle embolism after the emergency vet clinic had recommended euthanasia. Pepper is alive, happy and an important part of our family!
We first took our cat to Dr. Fouse to have him neutered. She was so good with him that we began to take our dog to her as well. She is very caring and the staff is great. I would highly recommend Shawnee Animal Hospital!
Won’t go anywhere else. Very affordable, and I trust the doctor 100 percent with my animals health.
I've never had a more caring vet or staff look after my fur babies. I transferred to this vet after another vet made a critical error that ultimately let to the early death of my animal, so I was extremely cautious and questioning about everything. They answer all questions, they are respectful and caring about both animal and its human. We are lucky to have such care in Topeka.
receptionists are clueless. called to share my critter care voucher had expired but the director told me over the phone she would approve it anyway and said she never had issues with them. came in from out of town today and they act like I'm crazy and refuse to neuter my dog because they didnt get an email from critter care. smh.. they never once told me when I scheduled they needed an email. just lost my business and all my friends. doesnt look good with critter care staff either. very incompetent staff
Most caring vet and staff. Always explains what my pets need. Dr. Douse is a wonderful veterinarian.
Don't go here unless you're a fan of getting ripped off and a front desk person with an attitude. They charge a $40 wellness check without disclosing it first then refuse to refund it because "services were rendered."
